Cowichan Biofuel Facility
CEA, in partnership with the Cowichan Bio-Diesel Co-op (CB-DC), is increasing capacity for a full scale Bio-Fuel Production and Distribution Facility system for Southern Vancouver Island.

Purpose and Scope of Facility
The purpose of the Cowichan Bio-Fuels Facility is:
1) to provide public and commercial waste vegetable oil (WVO) collection and drop-off services;
2) to sustainably recycle the collected WVO into bio-fuels made available for local use, and;
3) to serve as a public education, demonstration and research facility for the advancement of bio-fuels and alternative energies that can locally reduce our carbon footprint.
